Job Summary: Reporting to our Vice President, Air Department you will lead projects to improve travel services by redesigning processes and implementing new technologies for Guest and Corporate Travel. Develop programs like Connection Ambassadors, providing strategic oversight while handing off daily operations to the air operations team. Plans and manages travel logistics for large groups of guests, including charter flights, hotel stays, and train tickets. Oversee cross-functional teams from the air department to support specific travel initiatives. Negotiates contracts with travel suppliers such as airlines, hotels, ground handlers, and rail companies. Works with airport and government officials, airline partners, and charter brokers to streamline travel processes. Partners with Viking Land and Ship Operations to ensure a smooth guest experience, while also managing budgets and spending. Job Responsibilities: · Coordinate multiple service improvement initiatives, including Charter Flights, Air Blocks, Forced Overnight Hotels, and Rail programs · Scope of work may include needs assessment, internal proposal, supplier negotiation, operational process design, team formation, and execution of plan · Manage relationships with travel suppliers · Provide monthly reporting on project performance/results · Manage corporate travel programs, including policy, processes, staffing, reporting, and service improvement · Generate high-quality analysis and compelling, well-structured documentation: factual and persuasive business cases, detailed action plans, comprehensive project timelines, and proposals using the Microsoft Office suite, including Copilot or other AI tools.) Job Requirements: Demonstrated experience in business process re-design for travel programs Broad background including travel industry service delivery and management, process improvement, and strong project management skills Proven team leadership and effective communicator across all levels of the organization Demonstrated experience in creating and or managing complex travel programs, including large guest movements with charter flights, hotel, airline seat, and train seat blocks Success in forming cross-departmental teams that bring together the ideal mix of skills for specific projects, and leading multiple projects and teams simultaneously Demonstrated ability to work effectively across departments, with external business partners, and with C-Level to frontline personnel Superior customer service, leadership, and communication skills Availability to work variable shifts and long hours to accommodate international teams and travel (including evenings, weekends, and holidays) Experience in corporate travel management Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time What We Offer You: Highly competitive compensation plan. Salary range $90,000 - $122,000 annually determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
