Job Summary
We’re seeking a motivated Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, lead the team, and ensure smooth and efficient project execution. This role will manage dispatch, client interactions, materials ordering, job costing and invoicing, quotations, and all daily operational activities. The ideal candidate will be organized, people-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Dispatch*
Coordinate daily field operations and oversee completion of roofing, siding, window, and gutter projects.
Manage technician schedules, assign tasks, troubleshoot field issues, and ensure safety compliance.
Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and provide coaching as needed.
Client Interactions
*
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Communicate project timelines, changes, and updates clearly and professionally.
Address customer concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
Materials Ordering & Inventory*
Estimate material needs, place orders with suppliers, and track delivery status.
Manage inventory for ongoing jobs and minimize waste and downtime.
Ensure quality and availability of materials for scheduled projects.
Estimating, Quotes, & Invoicing
*
Assist in preparing accurate quotes for roofing, siding, windows, and gutters.
Monitor job costs against estimates and update clients as needed.
Generate and issue invoices, track receivables, and coordinate with accounting.
Project Monitoring & Reporting*
Monitor project progress, milestones, and budget adherence.
Prepare regular performance reports for leadership (KPIs, utilization, margins).
Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
Administrative Tasks
*
Maintain organized project files, contracts, change orders, and warranties.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with sales, production, and procurement teams to align company objectives.
Qualifications
Experience in operations, project management.
Strong leadership and people-management skills; ability to motivate and coach field teams.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Proficient with project management tools, CRM, and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with quoting and invoicing software.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if on-site visits are required).
