REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the logistics or airline industry
  • Alternatively, good knowledge of comparable international airline/ logistics industry structures
  • Fluency in English language
  • Advanced professional operations know how & skills in an airline or logistics environment
  • Computer literate as user
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent quality consciousness

Responsibilities

  • Management of all A/C and WH handling processes at the stations in compliance with directives
  • Achievement of financial and non-financial handling KPIs, performance analysis & corrective action
  • Operational steering of own staff and service providers
  • Contribution to LCAG Supplier Relationship Mgt. activity and participation in negotiations on external handling services
  • Responsibility for organizing and opening new stations
  • Implementation of central process directives and regional measures supporting worldwide Handling strategy
  • Management of necessary interfaces with airport, customs & authorities
  • Disciplinary leadership of the local handling team and promotion of people development
  • Plans/manages economical utilization of all manpower to maintain standards
  • Takeover of additional tasks when required
