Responsibilities
  • A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution and certificate or diploma in Safety management or a related discipline that includes courses in emergency planning, response, and hazard and risk assessment, is required.
  • Applicable Health & Safety designation from a recognized institution (i.e. CRSP®)
  • Minimum of 7 years of Safety experience
  • Minimum of 5 years leading and managing a team
  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable federal, provincial and municipal legislation and regulations pertaining to occupational health & safety and claims management and human rights.
  • A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care
