The Health Insurance Line of Business is one of the key growth engines of AXA Singapore, as AXA tries to reach achieve its ambition to be the preferred Health Insurance Partner. The position of Product manager in the Health Line of Business would play a pivotal role in ensuring a good product value proposition and competitiveness in the market. The candidate would be responsible in strengthening AXA Singapore’s Product expertise by working extensively with Pricing, underwriting, distribution, claims, Legal, marketing and digital teams. The role is required to be involved on the active product management to help the company achieve the strategic plan. The candidate would also be involved in strengthening AXA Singapore’s Product marketing and campaigns expertise (both strategic and commercial) working extensively with product developers, Marketing and Digital. The role is also responsible for implementing the relevant sales campaigns action to promote our full Health product portfolio towards intermediaries and customers. What you will be doing: Product development and maintenance Research the Singapore market including competitors product and pricing comparison for Health products Work with Marketing team to conduct customer surveys and analyzing results Develop the conception and execution of the product development plan for all customer and product segments (Commercial and Retail, Domestic and International coverage). This includes preparation and ownership of all product collaterals including policy contracts, brochures, other relevant sales materials, sales kit Cooperate closely with Actuaries, Underwriting, Operations, Claims and Sales team to plan, develop and implement Product Manage the Project management of the product launches. Make sure all work streams (e.g. operations, claims, system set up, marketing materials etc.) are on track and keeping all stakeholders up to date on the progress of the project timeline on weekly basis. Work closely with the Digital team in development of digital platform for specific products Initiate, develop or contribute to process efficiency in the whole value chain, including Business Development team, Sales & Distributions; Medical Underwriting, Processing and Claims team Taking ownership of product implementation in the system with help from the Operations team. Support to Business Development Provide product training to train-the-trainers upon product launch or revision Provide relevant Health-related content for AXA internal and external communication on products and services, including circulars to intermediaries, content for AXA website and social media Prepare, implement and monitor the performance of the sales campaigns for Health products with Marketing and Communication, Distribution and Digital teams What we are looking for: University degree (Finance, Insurance, Marketing, Management, Actuarial) 6 to 8 years of experience in Managing Insurance products development Strong conceptualization and analytical skills to develop competitive concepts of products and services Good leadership skills, proven experience in managing cross-functional projects Good interpersonal and communication skills An open attitude to change and ability to forge a vision for the future of the product line
