The Hedge Accounting team provides technical finance, accounting and advisory support to Treasury activities, including balance sheet management, funding, liquidity, and interest rate and FX risk management. The team has end-to-end responsibility for the governance, execution and reporting of hedge accounting strategies, ensuring alignment with accounting policy, risk intent and regulatory expectations. As a Manager, you will be accountable for the completeness, accuracy and integrity of hedge accounting across assigned portfolios, with oversight of calculations, reserves and journals. You will ensure compliance with accounting standards, contribute to regulatory and external reporting, and support audit requirements. Leveraging strong technical expertise in fixed income, FX and derivatives, you will analyse P&L volatility and hedge effectiveness, assess impacts of new trades or strategy changes, and provide guidance on complex IFRS/AASB requirements. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with senior Treasury stakeholders to influence hedging strategies and outcomes. What do I need? * Institutional banking or financial markets experience in a finance/hedge accounting role * Strong understanding of time value of money applications on valuation of financial instruments * Strong technical accounting skills (IFRS/AASB standards) * CA, CFA or CPA qualified (or actively working towards) * Proficiency of Microsoft Excel and database tools such as Access (desirable) * Ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders and manage competing deadlines Why join us?
