Role Overview As Manager, Hornet Live, you will own the business performance and strategic growth of Hornet’s live-streaming platform globally. You will be responsible for developing and executing a growth strategy that scales audience engagement, creator monetization, and platform revenue. This role requires a mix of entrepreneurial drive, operational rigor, and strategic thinking — ideal for a business leader passionate about digital platforms, the creator economy, and the queer community. You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Data, and Operations teams as well as external strategic partners. Key Responsibilities Business Leadership & Growth Strategy Own the P&L for Hornet Live, including revenue targets, cost management, and profitability. Define and execute the business growth plan, identifying high-potential markets, creator segments, and monetization levers. Develop and monitor KPI dashboards across acquisition, engagement, retention, and ARPU metrics. Identify and capitalize on new revenue streams, including virtual gifts, subscriptions, or brand partnerships. Creator Ecosystem & Content Performance Design and oversee the creator acquisition and retention strategy, ensuring a vibrant and diverse content ecosystem. Develop incentive programs and monetization models that align creator success with platform growth. Partner with Product and Marketing to highlight top creators, drive discovery, and amplify audience engagement. Partnerships & Business Development Build and manage strategic partnerships with LGBTQ+ creators, agencies, and media brands to expand Hornet Live’s reach and revenue potential. Manage partnership with technology and platform service provider. Negotiate and manage agreements with talent agencies, creators, and affiliates Explore collaborations with brands and event organizers for sponsorships and content integrations. Product & Operations Collaboration Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to optimize the live experience, creator tools, and payout systems. Ensure operational excellence across moderation, support, and compliance processes. Translate performance insights and user feedback into actionable product recommendations. Analytics & Reporting Lead data-driven decision making, leveraging dashboards and performance analytics to guide strategy. Report business performance, trends, and opportunities directly to the CEO and executive leadership. What We Are Looking For 5–10 years of experience in digital media, live-streaming, creator economy, or consumer tech, with business ownership responsibilities. Strong commercial acumen with proven experience managing P&L or revenue-driving initiatives. Deep understanding of creator ecosystems, online community dynamics, and monetization models. Experience negotiating partnerships and scaling digital revenue. Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills. Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
