This position offers flexibility in terms of location: you can choose to work remotely from home, in our office, or in a hybrid arrangement but ideally you will want to occasionally work out of the MTL office to enhance collaboration. You’ll have the autonomy to decide what works best for you while staying connected with the team through regular meetings and collaborative tools.
The opportunity
Human Resources (HR) plays an integral role in Medavie’s mission to improve the wellbeing of Canadians. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team is comprising of dedicated HR professionals who provide hands on support while being strategic partners and trusted advisors to all levels of management across assigned client groups.
The Manager, HRBP and Labor Relations will play a dual role: acting as a strategic HR Business Partner to assigned client groups while also leading a team of HR professionals.
In addition to leading their direct reports, the Manager will work closely with other HRBPs and HR Centers of Excellence to influence and implement enterprise-wide HR initiatives. They ensure that HR programs are tailored to meet evolving business needs, comply with collective agreements, and adhere to provincial legislation.
