JOB DESCRIPTION: MANAGER, HR – GERMANY, SWITZERLAND, AUSTRIA AND CZECH REPUBLIC

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Manager, HR to be based in Buchdorf, Germnay to join our team. The Manager, HR provides innovative, practical, and strategic human resource solutions that support the overall mission and goals of the business unit and/or location. This includes hourly and salaried nonexempt employee recruitment and staffing, personnel policy administration, wage and benefit programs, communications programs, and employee relations activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar position
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Leaders within the location/site to drive and support organizational growth.
  • Manage and drive the talent management strategy for the site/location to attract , develop and retain selection hourly and salaried employees. .
  • Develop programs, policies, procedures and controls which comply with local labour laws and which are aligned with Andrew’s global policies and procedures
  • Use HR data to analyze personnel statistics and provide insights to drive business performance
  • Act as a coach and trusted partner site supervisors and managers including policy interpretation and application and assistance with various employee relations issues.
  • Maintain a favorable employee relations climate by counseling and advising employees, developing various employee relations activities, and promoting communications between employees and management.
  • Administer company benefit programs.
  • Conduct research and investigations into wrong doing and make recommendations to upper management, internal legal counsel and senior HR.
  • Provide guidance and coordination of workforce reductions and job elimination activities as necessary.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
