Job Summary The HR Manager plays an important role in supporting the company’s growth by delivering strong HR operations, partnering with managers on people matters, and ensuring HR processes run smoothly and effectively. This role is hands-on and responsible for day-to-day HR activities, employee lifecycle management, and providing practical guidance to business leaders. The HR Manager helps implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with business needs while ensuring compliance with local regulations and maintaining a positive employee experience. Job Responsibilities HR Business Partnering & Advisory Partner with line managers to provide pragmatic HR advice on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and workforce planning. Support the implementation of HR plans and initiatives across recruitment, onboarding, retention, engagement, and employee lifecycle processes. Advise on HR matters including employee relations, disciplinary issues, industrial relations, and general HR policy interpretation. Work closely with HR COEs to execute talent, performance, and learning programs locally. HR Operations & Compliance Ensure HR policies, processes, and practices comply with local labor laws and company standards. Manage and maintain HR documentation, employee records, and Workday/BIPO data accuracy. Provide HR reporting for leadership, audits, and compliance needs, and follow up on corrective actions where required. Support activities related to compensation reviews, benefits administration, and contract management. Employee Engagement & Culture Coordinate and support employee engagement initiatives, company events, and communication activities aimed at strengthening culture. Promote company values and reinforce positive workplace behaviors and collaboration. Facilitate performance review cycles, ensuring employees and managers understand timelines and deliverables. Change & Project Support Support HR projects related to scaling operations, policy refreshes, organizational updates, or system/process improvements. Provide hands-on support during periods of organizational change, ensuring a smooth communication and transition process. Assist in implementing initiatives that improve HR effectiveness and elevate the employee experience. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5–8 years of progressive HR generalist or HR business partnering experience. Solid understanding of local labor laws, HR compliance, and HR operational processes. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and work effectively with managers and employees at all levels. Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on mindset. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Proficiency with HR systems (Workday, BIPO) and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
