Manager ‐ IE & Autonomation (Based at MAS Bodyline - Horana) The Bodywear Value Stream of MAS Holdings delivers end-to-end design, innovation and manufacturing solutions across lingerie, swimwear and next-to-skin categories. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the plant Industrial Engineering function to drive productivity, efficiency, capacity utilization, and cost optimization. Maximize productivity in indirect departments by monitoring efficiencies and managing indirect incentive follow‑ups. Lead factory integration and quick changeover processes to minimize bucket loss through effective pre‑preparation planning. Coordinate with planning and merchandising teams to ensure optimum plant loading that enhances productivity and incentive outflow. Drive effective utilization and enhancement of Darwin and Thulitha systems, aligning with upcoming IE applications (QCO, Yamazumi, Skill). Validate GSD‑based SMVs and consumption to ensure feasibility for the manufacturing process. Collaborate with Simultaneous Engineering, Technical Training, and Production teams to implement engineering improvements and strengthen skill development. Promote autonomation, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives using lean and IE principles while ensuring cost control and team competency development. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Degree in Physical Science or any discipline from a recognized university. 4 - 6 years of experience in apparel sector. Strong people management and communication skills Experience of leading and managing large teams
