JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for development, facilitation, and execution of Client Implementations and Operations. The 340b Implementation Manager will interact with Clients, Client EMR vendors and partners, Sales, Pharmacy Services, Pharmacy/Store Operations, Wholesalers, the Office of Pharmacy Affairs and other Walgreen Co Departments to setup and administer the 340b Program, and facilitate the 340b contracted pharmacy relationship for qualified covered entities and their patients; Collaborates with Sales and clients to provide 340B programs that fits client needs. Act as the 340b design consultant. Understand and review contractual terms and evaluate opportunities; Analyzes utilization reports and recommends modifications to client programs; Responsible for collaborating with the RFP team on creating and reviewing RFP responses that accurately showcase 340b complete platform capabilities and differentiators; Responsible for Compliance Monitoring and operations of the implemented programs. Accountable for client satisfaction; Timely and accurate communication with other corporate personnel and external stakeholders as it pertains to the 340b Program and with their supervisor are a must.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience in project management or business operations OR a High School diploma/GED and at least five years of experience in project management or business operations.
  • Experience collaborating with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department and company goals within budget and established timelines.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience articulating and communicating information and ideas to varying audiences (clients, vendors, stores, corporate management) and in multiple written styles (persuasive, informative, and narrative) in order to negotiate/gain access to information and records.
  • Experience presenting to and coordinating senior level meetings, including preparation of agendas, documenting meeting minutes, sending out documents to attendees.
  • Experience in gathering information from clients, hospitals or clinics, assessing internal and external clients’ needs and preparing solutions based on needs.
  • At least 2 years of experience building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Experience in identifying and analyzing trends and developing recommendations for improvements.
  • Intermediate level skill with Visio software.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
  • At least 1 year of experience of direct leadership and/or cross functional team leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in 340B or other Government funded programs.
  • Experience in Pharmacy Operations or Programs.

Responsibilities
  • Executes the implementation project plan and 340B business model. Manages the process. Works with Walgreens team, clients and stores to ensure the process is implemented and goes thorough integration.
  • Develops new 340b client implementation business models, project plans and timelines, including facilitation and collaboration of data fact gathering between Walgreens and client
  • Evaluates opportunities and collaborates with Sales regarding strategic client initiatives.
  • Collaborates with Business Development to meet needs of future 340B clients.
  • Develops 340B client relationships.
  • Develops contracts with 340B Clients.
  • Maintains and enhances understanding of 340b statutes and guidelines to ensure all client implementations are in compliance with those set forth by the Government.
  • Prepares and presents finalist presentations and conducts implementation meetings.
  • Manages risk point escalation of key business initiatives of current book of business.
  • Acts as a liaison between 340B Operations and Sales.
  • Develops and mentors staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace. Participates in hiring process to ensure adequate resources.
