ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a hand on leader with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Nursing, Aged Care, Allied Health or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in community or in-home aged care.
  • Deep understanding of aged care legislation, reforms and quality standards.
  • Strong team leadership, financial oversight and performance management skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage complexity and change
  • Compassionate, values-driven and culturally responsive
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the General Manager, Aged and Migrant Services, the Manager, In-Home Support provides strategic and operational leadership of MiCare’s community-based aged care programs, including Home Care Packages (HCP), Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Veteran Home Care (VHC) across Victoria and Queensland.
You’ll lead and support a high-performing team, ensure compliance and continuous improvement, and prepare the service for future aged care reform, with the client at the centre of everything you do.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage delivery of In-Home Support services across multiple programs and locations
  • Guide your team through aged care reform, service design and change
  • Oversee operations, budgets, compliance and service delivery across HCP, CHSP and VHC.
  • Drive performance, manage risk, and maintain high-quality care aligned to Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Build relationships with clients, families, staff and stakeholders to foster trust, innovation and growth.
  • Deliver on strategic objectives and program KPIs in line with MiCare’s values
