Tasks

• In this role, you will manage and further develop the group-wide insurance and liability management of enercity AG and its subsidiaries.
• Based on sound risk analyses, you will develop economically viable and risk-oriented insurance solutions and strategies.
• As a competent contact person, you advise departments, managers and group companies on insurance and liability law issues.
• You are responsible for tendering, negotiating, concluding, and managing insurance contracts. Furthermore, you manage the collaboration with insurers, brokers, and other service providers.
• You will provide comprehensive support for tendering and contracting procedures and ensure appropriate insurance coverage for the group.
• Your responsibilities also include coordinating and handling claims and liability cases, including enforcing and defending against claims.
• By implementing appropriate measures for damage prevention, you support the further development of group-wide risk and governance management.
• You will support investment, infrastructure and transformation projects from the perspective of insurance and liability management, contributing your expertise at an early stage.
• By cultivating and expanding relationships with relevant market partners, conducting market analyses, and representing enercity in expert committees and associations, you will strengthen the sustainable development of insurance management.

Requirements

• You have successfully completed a university degree, for example in the field of insurance, commercial law, business administration or risk management, or have a comparable qualification.
• Alternatively, you have completed insurance-specific training and further education with relevant professional experience.
• You already have several years of professional experience in insurance management at a company, insurer or broker.
• You possess sound knowledge of insurance, liability and claims management.
• Furthermore, you have experience in tendering, awarding and contracting procedures.
• Knowledge of risk management and ideally experience in corporate structures round off your profile.
• Strong negotiation, consulting and project management skills enable you to manage complex requirements in a targeted manner.
• Your work style is characterized by analytical thinking, economic action, and a structured and solution-oriented approach.
• Naturally, you possess a confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to successfully advise and support diverse stakeholders.
• You possess a high level of initiative, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to work in a team.
