Why work with ESS Support Services? We are a member of Compass Group Canada, the leading foodservice and support services company. We work with clients in the oil and gas, mining, construction, coastal logging, military and defense sectors. Coverage is as diverse as offshore oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, to coastal logging camps in B.C., to construction camps in the Alberta Oil Sands. Facilities are located within drill camps, mining camps, construction camps, pipeline camps, oil and gas installations and correctional facilities.

JOB SUMMARY

Overview: The MIT program is a 9-month commitment that offers hands-on, quality, in-depth management training and on the job experience.
Now, if you were to come on board as our Manager-In-Training we’d ask you to do the following for us:

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE PART OF THE PROGRAM (YOUR AMAZING SKILLS):

• Learn the aspects of the operation through job shadowing, participation, orientation, mentorship and formal learning opportunities
• Assist the management team in handling unit problems quickly and efficiently
• Attend, learn conduct and present Toolbox sessions to Associates daily
• Learn and update weekly reporting on Epay and Labour Tracker
