Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM / IN CREATING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

  • Lead Incident Learning teams, RCA and action follow through at high level Incident investigations;
  • Ensure adequate communication between all stakeholders;
  • Responsible for improving our incident learning capabilities, including developing training materials and providing coaching to our teams;
  • Leading the effort to develop and sustain changes to our incident learning process, ensuring its successful implementation locally;
  • Proactively learning from near misses and external incidents to identify and implement preventive measures;
  • Propose improvements for the Incident investigation standard and relevant tools;
  • Incident learning training for stakeholders.

THE BEST COMBINATION TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

  • Advanced experience in business and/or operational process excellence;
  • Experience with root cause analysis or other similar methods;
  • Experience in leadership and/or project management roles;
  • Experience working with refining and/or petrochemical industry;
  • Incident learning training / academic level of thinking / curiosity / open mind for fact; finding/ good communicator / refining and business acumen;
  • Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset;
  • Readiness in working with an international organisation and different cultures;
  • Readiness to travel.

THE BEST COMBINATION TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

  • Bachelor or Master Chemical degree;
  • Hands-on experience in the Chemical or Oil and Gas industry;
  • Strong networking, stakeholder management and communication skills enabling you to build relationships and effectively collaborate with various teams and individuals;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
  • Fluency in English and Dutch;
