Description
This is how you WOW: Evaluates and implements MHE, robotics, and other warehouse automation tools Ensures distribution center operations are scalable to accommodate business growth Minimizes waste, optimizes flow of products, and reduces labor costs through data-driven strategies. Implements lean warehousing principles to minimize waste in packaging and handling Serve as the SME for network design, facility design, and continuous improvement Assist in procuring various supply chain solutions including hardware, software and supporting technology Support the implementation of material handling systems that enable capacity and productivity improvements Analyze and improve warehouse layouts, optimize storage, picking, and packing areas to maximize space utilization and efficiency. Conduct motion and time studies for the development of future engineered labor standards in all relevant aspects of operations, analyze worker productivity and identify process bottlenecks. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), establish best practices for consistent and efficient operations. Reduce labor costs and improve productivity, implement workforce planning and efficiency strategies to maximize output. Enhance ergonomics and workplace safety, design workstations and workflows to minimize injuries and improve employee well-being. Optimize forklift and equipment utilization, improve routes and reduce travel time for material movement.
