Lead industrial relations policy at the centre of NSW Government Influence workforce reform and strategic government decision-making Ongoing, Clerk Grade 11/12 ($149,739 - $173,174 per annum) opportunity, based in Martin Place, Sydney About the Role You will join our Industrial Relations Policy team within the Industrial Relations Branch, People and Workforce Group. As the Manager, Industrial Relations Policy, you will lead a specialist team responsible for providing strategic industrial relations policy advice and driving reform initiatives that support the NSW industrial relations system. You will provide high-quality advice to senior executives, Ministers and government agencies on complex and often sensitive industrial relations matters, including legislative reform, policy development, workforce issues and emerging industrial relations trends. Working at the centre of government, you will play a key role in shaping whole-of-government industrial relations strategies and supporting informed decision-making on matters that impact the industrial relations framework in NSW. The role combines policy leadership, stakeholder engagement, project delivery and people management. You will work closely with government agencies, employee and employer representatives, industrial bodies and other key stakeholders to develop practical solutions, influence outcomes and support the successful implementation of industrial relations reforms. This is a unique opportunity to lead complex and high-profile work, influence industrial relations policy across government and contribute to strategic workforce outcomes. We're Looking For Industrial Relations Expertise: Demonstrated experience in industrial relations, employment relations, workforce policy or a related field, with the ability to interpret complex legislation and industrial issues and provide strategic advice Policy Leadership: Ability to analyse complex issues, develop evidence-based policy solutions and contribute to reform initiatives aligned to government priorities Stakeholder Engagement: Proven capability to build trusted relationships, negotiate outcomes and collaborative with agencies, unions and industrial stakeholders in complex environments People Leadership: Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, providing clear direction, building capability and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Strategic Delivery: Strong track record managing multiple priorities, projects or reform initiatives simultaneously, delivering high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes and competing demands We value diverse experiences.
