EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology an equivalent combination of experience and/or education required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology management
  • Two or more years of work experience in an FDA and/or ISO regulated environment preferred.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE:

Oversees all activities of the IT department. Ensures that technology systems run efficiently, securely and IT operations align with business objectives. Maintains day-to-day IT operations.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in planning and managing Information Technologies department annual budget, forecasts and resource allocation.
  • Ensures accurate inventory records of hardware and software, as well as records on repair, installation, and removal of equipment in the asset management system.
  • Manage the IT equipment lifecycle such as acquisition, maintenance, and deployment.
  • Coordinate IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, or new software rollouts
  • Ensure reliable operations of IT systems including hardware, software and network.
  • Protect systems from internal and external threats. Implement and manage security policies and disaster recovery plans.
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to threats or breaches.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, data protection laws and industry standards.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, policies, procedures, and configurations.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Assists in the development of standard operating procedures and policies for ACC’s Information Technology department, cyber security, and general systems use.

  • Stay up to date on technologies and make recommendations.
  • Set priorities and expectations for staff.
