Manager, Information Technology   At the NSW Department of Education, we educate and inspire lifelong learners – from early childhood, through schooling to vocational education and training.     Ongoing Full-Time Located in Eveleigh Sydney CBD with flexible working arrangements available Salary Clerk Grade 11/12: $149,739 to $173,174 base plus superannuation     About the role   Manages, monitors and reports on the technology portfolio and operations of DE International to ensure it operates within the defined Service Level Agreements (SLA) with relevant suppliers, public sector policies, business and government requirements. Monitor and manage work allocation across the data analytics team to enable the effective utilisation of resource capabilities to meet operational objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors facilitating regular status meetings to enable effective contract management, ensure compliance with SLAs and performance, regulatory and security standards. Negotiate contracts with outsourcing vendors and partners to establish SLAs and other conditions for the governance of performance requirements. Develop and implement outsourcing strategies to align with the organisation's overall business goals.   For further information please click here to view the role description   About you Planner Organised Superb communication, negotiation and stakeholder relationship skills Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.   Essential requirements of the role A degree, equivalent qualification in ICT or related discipline or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.  Proven experience in IT project management, including in outsourcing or vendor management, and system development. Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and outsourcing trends.
