Job Description Whats on your plate? This role will help drive strategic projects and generate insights for the business. The individual will be working very closely with senior management and be responsible for four main scopes: Reporting Business Performance: Analyze Data: Dive into talabat’s performance metrics, identifying key trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Prepare Reports: Create comprehensive and insightful reports for senior management, highlighting key drivers of change and actionable insights. Communicate Findings: Present findings in a clear and concise manner, often translating complex data into understandable recommendations for decision-makers. Conducting Analytical Deep Dives: Country-Specific Analysis: Perform detailed analyses of different talabat markets, focusing on identifying turnaround opportunities, growth and profitability areas. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to understand and address cross-functional issues impacting business performance. Strategy Development: Develop and recommend strategies based on analysis to improve overall performance and achieve business objectives. Special projects: Launching new products: Develop business use cases with innovative ideas and bring them to life by working on their implementation, ensuring they align with strategic goals and add value to the business. PnL management: Budgeting: Collaborate with local teams to develop talabat’s yearly budget, setting growth and profitability goals. PnL management: Ensure that budgets are adhered to consistently across the organization and proactively identify and pursue opportunities to exceed financial targets and enhance overall profitability. What did we order? Bachelor's Degree from a reputed institution and in related field (MBA is a plus) 5+ years of professional experience within the food delivery, e-commerce or management consulting industries (Past experience in subscription-focused business is a plus) Strong finance acumen; experience in P&L analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, business impact analysis Expertise with data tools: Big Query, SQL, Lookr etc. Strong analytical and communication skills (both verbal and written) Experience with PowerPoint and Excel And/ Or Google Slides/ Sheets. Strong track-record of problem-solving, including structuring problems, performing detailed analysis, and translating data into actionable insights. Proven experience in stakeholder management, relationship management, or similar roles within the food tech industry or related sectors. Experience working closely with cross-functional teams is a plus

Responsibilities

This role involves driving strategic projects and generating business insights by analyzing performance metrics, preparing comprehensive reports for senior management, and conducting deep-dive analyses across different markets. The individual will also be responsible for developing strategies, launching new products, and managing the Profit and Loss (PnL) including budgeting.
