Play a significant role in enhancing integrity and security across the NSW Electoral Commission Ongoing full-time role About the Role The Manager Integrity and Security reports to the Director, Integrity and Security and is responsible for managing the strategic and operational planning, governance and delivery of the Commission’s enterprise-wide security (excluding cyber security). This role ensures the Commission's election delivery and regulatory operations, staff, and facilities are protected against emerging threats and that security-related risks are effectively managed across these environments. The role is also responsible for developing, embedding and reporting on policies and frameworks, and raising awareness of these policies and frameworks, to provide assurance about the integrity of NSW elections, and enhance security culture across all areas of operational activity within the Commission. The role is an Ongoing Full-time position. Extensive experience in organisational security and integrity risk, preferably within public sector or high-risk operational settings. High level stakeholder engagement and communications skills with the ability to influence across government and security agencies. Strong understanding of NSW government sector and major event security, emergency response, and public accountability frameworks. Understanding of the NSW electoral system and the role of independent electoral commissions within Australia. Relevant tertiary qualifications. No affiliations with political parties, candidates, elected members, third-party campaigners, donors or registered lobbyists that could undermine the political impartiality of the Commission or that are otherwise inconsistent with its Political Neutrality Policy. A national security clearance to at least NV-01 level from the date of appointment or hold one within 6 months of that date. Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.
