ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead audit activities across our operations in Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea. This role is responsible for delivering operational and J-SOX audits that assess internal controls, process efficiency, risk management, and compliance.
You will provide expert recommendations that enhance financial and operational processes, partnering with senior leadership to implement outcomes and monitor progress. The position also offers opportunities to contribute to special projects and ad hoc assignments in a dynamic, cross-regional environment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to risk assessments, annual audit planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance audit quality and efficiency.
  • Lead and perform J-SOX audits across the region, ensuring adequacy of controls through audit execution and follow-up, while providing training and guidance to support business compliance and improvement.
  • Lead and participate in projects and studies and other IA initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong regional relationships, liaise with key stakeholders to stay informed on evolving business risks, and provide strategic advice and support to management on a consultative basis.
  • Proactively address business and regulatory concerns through effective communication, negotiation, and independent, solution-oriented thinking.
