Description
The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong. Responsibilities: To plan, supervise and conduct operational audits, value-for-money reviews and ad hoc assignments To provide recommendations for improvements in terms of operational effectiveness, efficiency, economy and compliance To prepare professionally written audit or review reports To follow up on implementation of audit or review recommendations To assist in preparation of the Department’s annual audit plan, business plan and budget To coordinate Annual Review of Internal Control and Risk Management To support the refinement of internal audit and risk management process by leveraging GenAI technology, ensuring alignment with the Authority’s AI Strategy and industry practices To support effective implementation and monitoring of Whistle-blowing mechanism To review and update the Corporate Operational and Authorisation Manual (COAM) and Corporate Policies and Procedures Manual (CPPM) to ensure reasonableness and a risk-based approach To provide other departmental supports such as Audit Committee Meeting preparation, liaison with the ICAC, etc. Requirements: Degree holder in relevant disciplines with recognised professional certifications (e.g. CIA, CPA, CFA, etc.) Minimum 8 years’ work experience Integrity, professionalism and innovation are the key required competences Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks Excellent communication, interpersonal and report writing skills Analytical skills and hands-on PC knowledge Closing date for application: 2 April 2026 How to Apply?
