The role of the Manager, International Engagement is to develop strategy to enhance the University’s relations with our international partners, government agencies and other key stakeholders. Key responsibilities: Drive engagement strategies of assigned region by collaborating with NTU stakeholders to ensure a concerted effort in the delivery of strategic outcomes. Foster a network of key partners and stakeholders both locally and internationally. Manage the execution of programmes and projects, working closely with stakeholders while ensuring adherence to established timelines and deliverables. Plan and execute high-impact programmes involving international guests, official trips of NTU leaders and other events involving international stakeholders. Prepare for events attended by NTU leaders prior to their engagement with external parties/stakeholders. This includes preparing and drafting reports/ communication plan and talking points as well as executing on-site engagement where required. Support the creation and implementation of administrative and strategic processes for NTU’s internationalisation strategies. Requirements: Degree in a relevant discipline such as International Relations, Public Relations, Business, Communications, etc. At least 5 years’ experience in international relations or developing relations with diverse stakeholders/international bodies/organisations. Excellent communication skills combined with cultural and diplomatic sensitivity. A good team player with strong networking skills and ability to engage people at all levels. High adaptable, self-motivated, meticulous and proven ability to achieve deadlines under pressure. Resourceful to research for topics assigned through internet and any other sources available. Candidates with established network of contacts in a region and/or is proficient in a foreign language would have an added advantage. Comfortable with international travel (estimated 2-3 trips in a year) to support the University’s activities in key regions.
