OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and culturally fluent Manager of International Student Services and Operations to oversee administrative service delivery, internal operations, and inter-institutional relationships across our Ontario and British Columbia offices.
This role plays a critical part in coordinating international student placements with external partner private schools, managing parent communications, and resolving high-sensitivity student cases such as homestay transitions, academic concerns, and school-family coordination. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and external stakeholders, including schools, homestay providers, and overseas education agents, to ensure smooth service delivery and long-term relationship management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in private education or international student services
  • Strong familiarity with Canadian and East Asian education systems and cultural communication
  • Ability to handle high-sensitivity situations with discretion and judgment
  • Fluent in English; fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese an asset
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on findings.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage the day-to-day operations of international student support services across Ontario and British Columbia offices.
  • Serve as the primary contact for school partners, liaising with private schools to facilitate student admissions and placement arrangements.
  • Handle complex student and family concerns, including academic performance, homestay issues, and school-parent communication.
  • Supervise workflow across departments such as admissions, homestay coordination, and student services.
  • Analyze student retention data and lead initiatives to improve service quality and retention outcomes.
  • Coordinate with marketing and content teams to align communications with agents and partners in East Asia.
  • Review operational procedures and recommend improvements to service quality and parent communication.
  • Mentor and support regional coordinators, particularly in high-sensitivity or urgent cases.
  • Coordinate school visit schedules, orientation logistics, and agent-led student recruitment tours.
