Priovant is committed to developing therapies that address high unmet need in autoimmune disease. Following our successful Phase 3 data, Priovant is preparing for commercial launch. We are seeking a highly motivated Inventory & Accounting Manager to lead the transition from R&D-based accounting to a commercial inventory model. This individual will be the architect of our inventory valuation processes, ensuring we are able to support a successful commercial launch and be audit-ready as we scale. This position will report to the Controller and is fully remote, with approximately two days per month of travel to the Durham, NC office required. Responsibilities Support the design and implementation of inventory accounting workflows within NetSuite Partner with commercial supply to track inventory from raw components to finished goods Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s standard costing model, including labor and overhead allocations Ensure appropriate tracking and reporting for clinical vs. commercial supplies, including proper cutoff of “pre-launch” inventory vs. capitalizable inventory costs Manage the month-end close process for inventory, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses Monitor inventory aging and prepare the analysis for excess and obsolete reserves Develop and document internal controls over financial reporting and support auditor requests Support other (non-inventory) month-end close processes, including preparing workpapers and accruals, account reconciliations, and various financial reporting packages Support the overall SOX audit, including pulling support for auditors Support annual tax compliance requirements, including sales and use tax, 1099s, etc. Assist in other ad hoc accounting/finance tasks as required Qualifications 5+ years corporate accounting experience, including at least 3 years of inventory accounting within the life sciences or biotech industries (first-product launch a plus) Strong understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and SOX 404 Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience with NetSuite preferred Highly detail-oriented Demonstrated ownership mentality with an ability to multi-task and strong organizational and project planning skills Quick learner who adapts well to a fast-paced environment and gets work done, combining creativity, problem-solving, and a can-do attitude to overcome obstacles
