We are looking for an IT Delivery Manager that will oversee a blended team of internal crew members and contractors, focusing on Oracle monthly maintenance patches, system enhancements, and backlog resolution. This role involves daily collaboration with the FinTech Durable Product Team to ensure seamless delivery and continuous improvement.
This high-performing team successfully led the Finance Transformation initiative, migrating our on-premises PeopleSoft applications to Oracle Cloud. Beyond managing production support and addressing the backlog of service tickets, the team remains proactive in applying the latest monthly and quarterly Oracle patches and staying current with new feature releases to ensure a robust and future-ready platform.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in people management whether lead or delivery manager level.
  • Experience supporting Financial Technologies (preferably Oracle)
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Lead Oracle EPM/ERP Team: Manage end-to-end delivery of Oracle EPM and ERP Enhancement, BAU and Production Support for clients. Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions, particularly around financial planning, budgeting, profitability analysis, and data management. Provide technical leadership and guidance.
  • Project Management: Oversee project planning, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets for multiple client projects. Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and on-budget while meeting high standards of quality. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing potential roadblocks. Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders and senior leadership to keep them informed of progress. Active participant in annual SOC recertification. Follow Oracle Ticket inception through to resolution and follow up for improvement if necessary.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a cross-functional team of Oracle EPM/ERP consultants and developers, guiding them in the successful execution of client projects. Mentor and train team members to enhance their technical and functional skills in Oracle EPM/ERP solutions. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest Oracle EPM/ERP product enhancements and best practices. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within project delivery teams. Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation to help improve internal methodologies and standards. Accountable for team dashboard metrics and an understanding of how these metrics are identified as well as able to report and resolve discrepancies. Agile/Scrum advocate
