ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A well-established nonprofit, headquartered in Ottawa, is looking for a Manager, IT Operations to lead their entire IS/IT infrastructure from development to implementation to maintenance. Moreover, while this person will possess complete ownership of the internal IT landscape, this is a technical leadership role in nature and will not involve direct reports or people leadership.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Complete ownership of the internal IT function including the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures, IT project management and budgets, ERP implementations, external vendor management, etc.
• Software and hardware installations and configurations, Office 365 administration (SharePoint, Teams, etc.), data recovery and troubleshooting, etc.
• Management of IT asset inventory and continuous research into emerging industry trends, solutions, etc.
• Facilitating the support and technical training for staff on new business applications, IT systems, cybersecurity measures/solutions, etc.
