This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage IT operations across Windows and Linux environments within a global and dynamic organization. The Manager – IT Operations will oversee server infrastructure, ensure operational stability, and implement best practices for system management. You will guide technical teams, monitor key system metrics, and act as the escalation point for technical issues, driving operational excellence. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, mentoring junior staff, maintaining SOPs, and ensuring compliance with global IT standards. Your impact will directly contribute to system reliability, performance optimization, and the success of core organizational functions. \n Accountabilities Oversee technical management, operation, and maintenance of Windows and Linux server infrastructure. Define, review, and enforce hardware and software standards for installation, configuration, and system maintenance. Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and documentation to ensure operational consistency. Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and software solutions to support decision-making and purchasing efforts. Serve as the technical escalation point for IT teams and maintain system stability, integrity, and uptime. Monitor system performance and key parameters, ensuring optimum functionality of critical systems. Mentor junior staff, provide training, and promote standardization across IT operations. Participate in on-call rotations to address urgent operational issues. Requirements BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3–5+ years of experience in technical leadership or managerial roles within IT operations. Hands-on expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems, including patch management and vulnerability remediation. Experience with Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and full server lifecycle management. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate effectively within a global organization and collaborate with dynamic teams. Experience capturing operational metrics and reporting KPIs to senior management.
