YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We are in search of a smart, creative, and inspired leader for the role of Manager, IT Procurement based in North America. The individual will support our global procurement team in the development and implementation of an IT procurement department. This role will execute the strategy to drive change and innovation in Stantec’s procurement of IT products and software, moving the company to the next level of sourcing and procurement of IT hardware and software by creating and managing processes that align with Stantec’s strategic vision.
Reporting to the VP – Procurement & Real Estate, the Manager for IT Procurement will manage all company-wide IT-related purchases.
The individual will lead a team that drives the project deliverables, as well as the technical support for purchasing, invoicing and sourcing for all IT procurement activities at Stantec. This role will be critical in driving process transformation, stakeholder buy in and leading the delivery team. The Senior Director needs to have a strong desire for being accountable for delivering a seamless purchasing and invoicing process to Stantec. Collaboration with Stantec IT services and stakeholders will be critical to driving these improvements, leading the change management to streamline operations.

YOUR CAPABILITIES AND CREDENTIALS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Degree or certification in supply chain management, procurement or related fields is preferred (e.g., CSCP, CPSM or related designation).
Preferably 7+ years of experience in procurement systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead a procurement function and partner closely with finance and IT teams to work cohesively to deliver an IT procurement program.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
