Job Description Manager, Engineering, Pune About this job As a Manager Technology, you’ll have the opportunity of leading 4 or more strategic global initiatives, influencing and ensuring the deliverables by managing directly or indirectly the teams executing the projects and the main stakeholders. Write complex, maintainable code to develop scalable, flexible, and user-friendly applications, using Angular, Java and Springboot, Restful APIs and an understanding of microservices architecture Identify and develop reusable UI components that serve the needs of multiple applications. Design and develop highly available, low latency, cloud-native applications. Participate in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of our Analytic applications - conceptualize, design, develop, test and deploy Responsible for give direction in the form of broadly defined outcomes, owns the design and delivery and defines the objectives of the assignment. Typically Partners with multiple scrum teams to track progress Responsible for ensuring teams live agile values and principles and follows the appropriate processes and practices even in complex or challenging circumstances. Works with multiple stakeholders to define complex/challenging technology roadmaps for application component Defines/designs and owns execution of technology teams and/or initiatives, applications or projects to deliver scalable, quality, flexible and user-friendly applications. Owns high level design for application components & collaborates with architecture on the E2E solution design Able to manage several application component teams effectively Guides and mentors other Engineering managers and team members on technology aspects and provides guidance in resolving technical issues Leads 3 or 4 [TP] 4+ strategic initiatives Usually directly or indirectly managers large/multiple teams, and works with direct manager, colleagues, and other stakeholders such as Program team, Product Leaders, Senior Technical Leaders and others. Influences, collaborates, and sets clear priorities & expectations for multiple teams and stakeholders. Works with other technology teams to drive design & integration Collaborates with multiple Product owners to ensure a steady pipeline of work Qualifications 10+ years of applicable software engineering experience Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field Strong fundamentals with experience in back-end and front-end object-oriented programming, including proficiency in Java, Springboot and Angular Familiarity integrating Restful APIs and an understanding of microservices architecture. Have a passion and energy for learning and improving. Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business.
