The Manager JV Accounting sets the accounting and reporting direction, policies, and procedures, and provides financial leadership and oversight for the System’s joint ventures. This position oversees a range of accounting activities for these entities (e.g. journal entries, accruals, account reconciliation, financial reporting), ensures transactions comply with GAAP requirements, and manages the financial reporting and budgeting process. This role may be called upon to provide financial presentations to various joint venture boards/committees. The Manager JV Accounting, also, keeps up-to-date with accounting policies and procedures within the healthcare industry, and strives to ensure implemented processes represent accounting best practices and compliance with GAAP.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree Accounting, Finance, Business or related - Required
• Master’s Degree Accounting, Finance, Business or related - Preferred
• 8 years Accounting - Required
• 5 years experience leading teams and performing accounting activities - Required
• 3 years Healthcare experience - Required
• 3 years Joint venture accounting experience - Preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - State Licensing Board Preferred - Preferred
