About The Opportunity The Manager, Key Cities Strategy & Analytics role is part of Grubhub’s Growth team. This role will drive improvements to the Growth team’s Key Cities Strategy infrastructure and frameworks, including the automation of reporting, development of dashboards, and analysis of business data to drive insights informing marketing and growth decisions at a regional or city-level. You will work with other members of the Key Cities team, as well as stakeholders in other areas of the business, to ensure simplicity, accuracy, and timeliness of data and business analysis and reporting. You will be involved in other analyses to support broader data-driven strategy, including measurement of market interventions across cities and regions, and will have the opportunity to develop into roles with broad business impact and executive-level engagement. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who can identify ways to improve our analytics function and act independently. This role also requires working closely with other team members, translating business needs into actions, and prioritizing work across multiple work streams. The role requires expertise in business analysis, SQL, Tableau, and data visualization; strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a capacity to develop business judgment. Additionally, the role will support our reporting functions, and will entail producing slides, charts, tables, and analytical commentary to enable business decisions, so candidates with experience with these tasks and strong communication are highly preferred. The Impact You Will Make Drive automation of reporting and analytical functions for Grubhub’s Key Cities team Support regular and ad hoc reporting to drive business decisions Develop user-friendly dashboards to enable a broad range of stakeholders to increase their understanding of day to day business movements Ensure data quality and timeliness of reporting Facilitate goal tracking to meet the organization’s KPIs Partner with Growth, Product, Logistics, Merchant Network, and Finance teams, amongst others, to identify opportunities for operational improvements, develop plans for executing improvements, and deliver on those plans What You Bring to the Table 4+ years of experience in an analytics role Expertise with data analysis, visualization, and automation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) Proven track record of using analytics and qualitative understanding of business drivers to enable decision-making Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively influence various functional groups and up to executive levels Strong organization and self-management capabilities Got These? Even Better Exhibited ability to perform complex analysis and synthesize data into easily understandable, compelling, and actionable insights with experience influencing business decisions Prior consulting experience Base Salary New York: $128,000 Illinois: $115,000 Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located.
