Role Overview The Data Architect & Modeller is responsible for designing, developing, and managing the organization’s data architecture to support business needs and strategic objectives. This role supports the Head of Data Architecture, Strategy Lead, and Data Engineering teams in delivering a robust enterprise data approach. The role focuses on defining enterprise data models, building scalable data platforms, and enabling ‘one source of truth’ and ‘one version of the truth’ through strong data modelling, governance, and best practices. This position requires strong technical expertise in modern data platforms, combined with strategic thinking, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to support cross-functional initiatives within a highly regulated environment.   Background KPMG in the UK have recently appointed a Chief Data Officer to establish and embed an enterprise data strategy as part of a significant digital transformation initiative. To support this, a data modeller is required to work closely with the Strategy Lead and Head of Data Architecture & Engineering to: * Develop an enterprise data model * Support the build-out of a data platform * Embed data management best practices Enable a consistent and governed approach to data across the firm
