FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details: Typical daily shift follows the needs of the sites and the business hours. The CP South division Laboratory Manager has direct responsibility for the Moorland and Drexel laboratory locations as well as oversight of multiple satellite lab locations. M-F hours 8:00- 5pm, flexible dependent on need. Holidays/ Weekends: Hours are only required as needed again to support the team between Moorland and Drexel laboratory locations Job Summary: The Department Manager, under the direction of the Director, is responsible for the direct and indirect total care of the patients within the department at all sites; is responsible for the management of all personnel in their respective areas; is responsible to improve and/or maintain all economical and efficient processes. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Three years of supervisory experience preferably in a related area is required. Experience in supervision is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology science or related field is required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills working with multiple disciplines in a service-oriented environment. Capable of functioning in a team environment and within a matrixed organization. Possess effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment under constant deadlines. Ability to provide team leadership. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Registration by ASCP or other accrediting body is required.
