What’s the opportunity?
We are looking to add a Manager, Landscape & Snow Service to our Toronto team to lead field operations and help drive service excellence year-round. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone with strong operational experience, a passion for landscape maintenance, and the ability to manage high-performing crews across both the summer and winter seasons. You will oversee day-to-day scheduling, quality control, and service delivery while collaborating closely with the customer service and sales teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

SKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Foreperson in landscape and snow removal operations and maintenance
  • Strong operational knowledge of landscape maintenance and snow removal for managing large teams
  • Ability to maintain landscaping equipment and coordinate repairs through work requests to mechanics
  • Possession of a valid G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Willingness and ability to travel between multiple sites as needed
  • Skilled in identifying issues, troubleshooting, and resolving challenges calmly and effectively
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Capable of planning, prioritizing, and executing tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to manage staff while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

Responsibilities
  • Manage Field Supervisors and crew personnel, providing direction, support, and performance oversight to ensure high standards across all services.
  • Maintain master schedules and calendars; work with the Dispatch to align crews, equipment, and material deliveries for timely execution.
  • Manage assigned Fleet Supervisors and ensure that vehicles and equipment are maintained, serviced, and available to meet production demands.
  • Order materials, plants, and supplies in line with job requirements and budget constraints, ensuring timely availability for field teams.
  • Track and manage job budgets—including hours, materials, and purchases—with a focus on efficiency and profitability.
  • Review and authorize weekly payroll and expense reports for field staff to maintain accuracy and alignment with budgets.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training efforts to build strong field teams, while ensuring orientation and policy compliance.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Project Managers to support estimating, quoting, and client proposals
  • Enforce company policies and safety protocols; complete and submit incident reports for accidents or near-misses as per company policy.
  • Oversee post-job inspections, quality assurance programs, and warranty processes to ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention.
    Location: Toronto
    This is not a virtual role. While some work from home is permitted, this is a boots on the ground role that will require regular meetings with clients across the GTA to prospect and close deals.
