HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE Manager, Learning and Development (25260542) The Office is looking for a learning and people development professional to support the development and of training and development strategies of the university. Requirements: Responsible for the following areas of learning and development, including: Conducting analysis to understand training needs from internal clients; Designing targeted learning and development strategies; Developing appropriate learning tools and interventions; Selecting and managing external vendors; Executing and overseeing programme delivery; Evaluating programme effectiveness and preparing reports; and Supporting corporate HR projects focused on Organisation and Talent Development. Requirements: A recognised degree, preferably in Human Resources, Language or Communications; A minimum of 7 years of work experience in managing Learning and Development programme with at least 3 years in a managerial role; Experience as a trainer / facilitator and an instructional designer Strong analytical, communication, problem solving and project management skills; Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese with proficiency in Putonghua; and A passion in people development, team spirit and strong attention to details. In addition to the above requirements, candidates with the following experience will be highly preferred: Knowledge of talent management, career planning, succession planning to ensure learning is aligned with organisational objectives; Working with HR Business Partners in enhancing organisational performance with learning initiatives; L&D management experience in public organizations or NGOs; and The appointed candidate may be assigned to take up other duties under the O&TD team, such as those related to staff complaint, equal opportunity matters, HR communications, and/or performance management, policy and governance, etc. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and interview(s). The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.
