Responsibilities

The Manager, Learning Design, Technology, and Media leads the planning and coordination of course development within the Centre for Educational Excellence (CEE). This role manages the design, development, and implementation of educational technologies, multimedia resources, and course production in Canvas for online, blended, and in-person delivery. Additionally, this position oversees a team responsible for educational media and course development, ensuring quality assurance, accessibility, and alignment with best practices. This role provides strategic leadership in supporting faculty use of media and technology in teaching, maintain awareness of emerging trends, and promote the Centre’s work across the SFU community.
