Description
The Manager – Leasing is responsible for overseeing all leasing operations, ensuring the leasing process is efficient, compliant, and tightly coordinated with operations, equipment, and shop teams. This role manages the full lifecycle of lease agreements, loaner truck coordination, LLC program administration, and new-hire equipment seating following orientation. The Manager ensures accurate billing, settlements, and invoicing related to leasing and LLC programs, while maintaining strong internal and external partnerships to support fleet optimization and driver success. Supervisory Responsibilities Recruits, hires, trains, and develops leasing staff Manages daily operations of the leasing team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies Conducts performance evaluations and provides ongoing coaching and accountability Works cross-functionally with Operations, Equipment Coordinators, Shop, Finance, Recruiting, and Orientation teams to resolve issues and improve processes Duties and Responsibilities Leasing & Loaner Truck Operations Oversee the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease execution and ongoing support Manage and approve loaner truck requests from Operations and Shop, including: Coordinating truck swaps and pickup locations Executing and tracking temporary lease agreements Ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing Partner with Operations and Equipment teams to ensure drivers remain seated with minimal downtime New Driver Equipment Coordination Coordinate all new-hire seating post-orientation, ensuring drivers know where and when to pick up their assigned truck and equipment Serve as the central point of coordination between Orientation, Operations, Equipment Coordinators, and Shop teams Ensure all lease documents, equipment assignments, and system entries are completed prior to driver pickup LLC Program Administration Own the administration of the LLC program, including: Weekly tracking of LLC hires and terminations Ensuring LLC fees are accurately passed through to drivers via settlements Reviewing and reconciling weekly and monthly invoices from the LLC provider for accuracy Partnering with Finance to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance Fleet & Equipment Coordination Work closely with Equipment Coordinators, Shop, and Operations to: Identify trucks that need to be removed from the fleet Coordinate reassignment or replacement equipment for affected drivers Ensure lease records, systems, and settlements reflect equipment changes accurately Compliance, Reporting & Process Improvement Ensure all leasing transactions comply with legal, financial, and company policies Maintain accurate lease records, temporary agreements, and supporting documentation Prepare and deliver regular reports on leasing activity, loaner usage, LLC participation, and fleet impacts Identify opportunities to streamline leasing, loaner, and seating processes to improve driver experience and operational efficiency Customer & Internal Support Address driver and internal stakeholder inquiries related to leasing, loaners, equipment, and LLC programs Resolve issues promptly while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy Maintain strong working relationships with vendors, internal departments, and leadership The schedule is Monday-Friday, with Saturday mornings rotated among staff.
