Description
Service Center CSCS TX Leave Program Management · Oversee administration of all teammate leave programs, including but not limited to sick leave, medical leave, statutory leaves, military leaves, FMLA, and company-sponsored leave policies. · Ensure accurate tracking, documentation, and reporting of leave balances and usage. · Ensure the accurate and timely return of teammates to work, review of ADA Accommodations, and escalation of issues to management or legal as necessary. · Maintain and continuously improve leave administration processes and workflows. · Provide guidance to managers and employees on leave-related inquiries. · Work with health and welfare to ensure proper direct bill procedures are followed. · Work with payroll to initiate any repayment of direct bill arrearage. Compliance & Policy Governance · Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies related to leave and time off. · Interpret legislation and translate requirements into operational procedures, including working with other departments such as Payroll, Legal, and IT to incorporate new statutory leaves and any associated tax implications, HRIS changes. Communicate changes to teammates in the impacted state. · Partner with Legal, HR, HRIS, and vendor-partner teams to update and implement leave policies as needed. Team Leadership · Manage, coach, and develop a team of leave administrators or specialists. · Set performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and support skill development. · Allocate workload effectively to meet service-level expectations. · Evaluate vendor-partner’s performance related not only to performance guarantees but also to day-to-day competencies and performance. Stakeholder Collaboration · Partner with HR Business Partners, Payroll, HRIS, Business Stakeholders and external vendor-partners to ensure seamless leave processing. · Serve as the escalation point for complex or sensitive leave cases, including legal cases Systems & Data Management · Work with IT partners to maintain leave administration systems within HRIS and associated integrations with vendor-partners · Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems. · Analyze leave data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Employee Experience & Communication · Ensure timely, clear, and empathetic communication with teammates regarding leave eligibility, processes, and expectations. · Work with Communications to develop employee-facing documentation, FAQs, and training materials related to leave programs. Continuous Improvement · Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate tasks, and improve service delivery. · Lead or participate in projects related to system enhancements, policy changes, or vendor transitions. Qualifications & Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). · CEBS, GBS or equivalent preferred. · 5–8 years of experience in HR operations, leave administration, benefits administration, or a related function either from the employer or leave vendor perspective. · Prior people management experience preferred. · Strong knowledge of leave-related laws and regulations (e.g., medical, FMLA, and statutory leave frameworks, depending on geography). · Experience working with HRIS and absence management systems.
