[What you will be working on] Conceptualise and execute digital and physical programmes and services for the National Library (NL) and National Archives of Singapore (NAS), to engage a diverse spectrum of target audiences. Design creative/interactive experiences for youths and adults to participate in, to promote Singapore content and reading through NLB. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement programmming plans, including content curation, event management, collateral design, publicity and research. Develop outreach strategy to understand and connect with audience needs, and increase their awareness of the collections, programmes and exhibitions at NL and NAS. Manage the docent/volunteer programme, including liaison with them for smooth execution of exhibition tours. Identify and cultivate strategic partnership opportunities with organisations, communities and individuals to widen participation outcomes and support NL/NAS programming mission. Handle venue sponsorship requests and evaluation of applications. Provide administrative support for the department. [What we are looking for] At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management, programme development, community engagement or similar projects Resourceful; willing to experiment, work with limited resources and able to build strong networks with partners Familiar with using digital platforms and tools (such as design, video editing and data analysis) Proactive and meticulous with excellent time management, project management, analytical and written skills Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills Required to work outside of office hours and/or on weekends Keen interest and knowledge in Singapore history, heritage and culture; ability to emcee in events will be an advantage Successful applicant will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance. http://jobs.careers.gov.sg The Singapore Public Service plays a key role in the economic growth, progress and stability of Singapore by formulating and implementing government policies, as well as providing key public services.
