In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $82,915.00 - $105,716.63, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential incentives. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus. If you are hired at USALLIANCE Federal Credit Union, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part is any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The incumbent in this position will be responsible for providing leadership and operational direction for the Loan Servicing Department. Oversee staff that services all loan products offered by the Credit Union: consumer loan products, commercial, mortgage and specialty loans including plane, RV, and marine loans. Ensures that proper policies, guidelines, and procedures are in place to meet the strategic goals of the Credit Union.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work directly with system providers to utilize full efficiency of each system.
  • Organize and direct the daily activity in loan servicing including onboarding new real estate loans, funding, payment processing, post-closing audit review, sale of loans to the secondary market, loan pledging and collateral delivery, escrow processing including annual review, system exception review, payoff and collateral releases, record retention and rate changes and accrual adjustments.
  • Provides a team of staff capable of accomplishing the goals and objectives of the servicing department.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, evaluating, developing, and promoting staff within current policies and procedures established through human resources while maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
  • Oversees the Construction to Perm portfolio ensuring project timelines are met, disbursements are completed in a timely manner and all requirements of the program are being adhered to.
  • Assists in developing strategic goals for the servicing department and facilitates the successful attainment of these goals.
  • Works with other management within the Credit Union to promote and facilitate servicing.
  • Responsible for setting targets for staff performance and ensuring their accountability.
  • Responsible for providing leadership for the daily operations of the loan servicing department.
  • Performs employee evaluations, formulating and implementing corrective action as needed and setting goals to assist staff members in reaching their full potential.
  • Ensures that all secondary market loan sales are delivered accurately within the contracted timeframe.
  • Ensures staffing levels are appropriate.
  • Develops policies and procedures, ensuring that all servicing activities are in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws; and requirements of the federal credit union act and secondary market are strictly adhered to.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of the credit union’s strategic plan.
  • Promotes honest and open communication, trust, leadership, and performance within the department.
  • Demonstrates behaviors that are consistent with the Credit Union’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
