Role & Responsibilities: Position summary The APAC Inbound Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing all inbound logistics activities into APAC region, ensuring on-time, cost-effective, and compliant flow of finished goods from global suppliers to regional distribution centers in APAC. This role leads a regional team in Shanghai and manager logistics service providers, driving continuous improvement in service, cost, and process efficiency. Key Result Areas: Develop and own the regional inbound logistics strategy for APAC, aligned with global supply chain and business objective. Leverage operation team in MY to monitor daily inbound flows, resolve delays, capacity issues, and exceptions, and communicate schedule and recovery plans to internal stakeholders. Collaborate with regional planning, origin logistics, custom and DC team to align inbound plan with demand and capacity. Work with procurement team to select, contract, and manage freight forwarders, carriers, 3PLs including performance review, rate negotiation and corrective action plan. Support freight billing audit process in CASS and minimize exceptions in approval process. Track and manage logistics KPI such as on-time delivery, lead time, cost per unit, container utilization, demurrage/detention and damage Lead cost-reduction and process improvement initiatives such as network optimization, digitalization, automation Develop and coach the regional inbound logistics team and support best-practice sharing across regions. Proven track record managing freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL such as performance management Demonstrated ability to optimize routes, loads, and logistics networks to reduce cost and improve service. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional team and senior leaders Strong problem-solving, analytical, and continuous improvement mindset, comfortable working in fast-paced, matrix environment.
