Location(s): Japan City/Cities: Shiga Travel Required: 00% - 25% Relocation Provided: No Job Posting End Date: January 30, 2026 Shift: Job Description Summary: Job Summary Execute Transportation and Warehouse optimization project following strategy • Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, production, sales) and external partners (3PLs, carriers) to align logistics strategies with business goals. • Develop and implement logistics optimization strategies, including route planning, warehouse layout, 、Warehouse location for design scope and inventory distribution • Conduct scenario modeling and simulations to support strategic decision-making in collaborate with BI partner • Lead function and cross-functional projects to streamline logistics processes and improve service levels. Prepare the optimized strategy of supply network in collaborating with stakeholders • Analyze logistics networks and transportation flows to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities from data and market situations in collaborate with BI partners. • Prepare strategy for logistics in considered LRP and our vision. • Market research of logistics industry such as Warehouse, transportation and operations Monitoring KPI and evaluation of performance for partners • Ensure and embed adequate KPI so that evaluate the performance for our logistics operations • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as transportation cost, delivery accuracy, and inventory turnover. • Find improvement opportunities from facts and prepare the action plan. • Evaluate performance of partners and feedback to aim for further improvements • Acerate Visualization and digitalization of KPI such as cost, volumes with technology and scientific approach Sourcing and supplier relationship management • Develop and sourcing of logistics partners following sourcing strategy. • Monitoring performance and feedback of performance with regular touchpoints. • Facilitate and implement regular bidding for logistics operation in collaborated with Global logistics services and Platform service team. • Promote digitalization program such as LBN and track and trace systems with suppliers. • Supporting on-boarding process for new vendors. • Contract management for vendors • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and sustainability goals in logistics operations with suppliers. Strengthening governance to ensure regulatory compliance with Logistics operation team • Ensure full compliance with Japan’s logistics‑related regulations, including the Logistics Optimization Act. • Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into actionable requirements for internal teams and logistics partners. • Build strong partnerships with carriers to ensure compliance, operational transparency, and mutual productivity improvements. Promote data analysis with digitalization and adaptation of new technology for logistics operation • Explore new technology to optimize logistics operations. • Facilitate installation process for new technology engaged with operation team. • Implement data analysis of logistics operations such as data analytics tools. Qualifications / Compentencies ■Mandatory qualifications Functional Competencies - Project management. - Operational capability & knowledge of logistics. - Strong communication and presentation skills - Microsoft software tools proficiency (Excel, MS Word, Power Point, Power BI) - Knowledge of Warehouse management, Logistics operation. - Knowledge optimization of logistics and supply network. Operational Excellence belt certification - Change management skills. - Knowledge of cutting edge technical solution for logistics Requirements / Qualifications ■Mandates - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics operation (B2B, or B2C) or material management operation - Experience project related to Logistics operation or Material management. ■Preferred - Experience purchasing or sourcing operation - Project management experience in cross-functional and multi-rational environments.
