Job Description The Manager, Logistics Performance acts as the primary interface between country operations and regional logistics, ensuring alignment on priorities, performance, and execution. The role is responsible for analyzing logistics performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving operational enhancements across the network. It ensures that logistics initiatives are translated into effective execution at the operational level, while also elevating operational needs and constraints to regional logistics. This role is critical to bridging strategy and execution in logistics, ensuring that logistics performance directly supports overall operational outcomes. Scope of Responsibility Coverage: Multi-country / regional scope Stakeholders: Regional Logistics Country Operations Teams Area Managers Operational Excellence (OpEx) Focus areas: Logistics performance, last-mile / supply chain execution, operational alignment Nature of role: Individual contributor with cross-functional ownership and influence Responsibilities 1. Regional Logistics Interface & Alignment Act as the main point of contact between Operations and Regional Logistics Ensure clear alignment on priorities, initiatives, and timelines Translate regional logistics strategies into actionable plans for country operations Provide structured feedback from operations to regional logistics, ensuring: Local constraints are understood Operational feasibility is considered Execution risks are proactively flagged 2. Logistics Performance Monitoring & Analysis Track and analyze logistics KPIs across countries (e.g. delivery times, cost efficiency, service level, utilization) Identify: Performance gaps and inefficiencies Variability across markets Root causes of underperformance Develop regular reporting and performance reviews for both Operations and Regional Logistics Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve logistics performance 3. Prioritization & Initiative Management Consolidate and prioritize logistics-related needs from Operations Ensure prioritization is: Structured Data-driven Aligned with regional and business priorities Coordinate with Regional Logistics on: Initiative roadmap Resource allocation Implementation sequencing Track progress of key logistics initiatives and ensure timely execution 4. Operational Improvement & Execution Identify and drive logistics improvement opportunities across markets Support implementation of: Process improvements Efficiency initiatives Cost optimization measures Ensure initiatives are: Properly communicated Operationally embedded Measured for impact Act as a problem solver for cross-functional logistics issues, ensuring resolution and follow-up 5. Stakeholder Management & Communication Build strong working relationships with: Regional Logistics teams Country Operations leaders Area Managers Facilitate regular alignment forums (e.g. performance reviews, planning sessions) Ensure: Clear communication of priorities and expectations Transparency on performance and progress Alignment across stakeholders 6. Continuous Improvement & Standardization Drive standardization of logistics processes and best practices across markets Identify opportunities to: Improve operational consistency Increase efficiency and scalability Reduce complexity Support development of tools, frameworks, and reporting structures to enhance logistics management Success Metrics Improvement in logistics KPIs (e.g. delivery time, service level, cost efficiency) Reduction in operational inefficiencies and variability across markets Successful delivery of logistics initiatives (on time, with impact) Alignment and satisfaction between Operations and Regional Logistics Quality and adoption of performance reporting and insights Qualifications 3–6 years in logistics, supply chain, operations, or consulting Experience in multi-country or regional roles preferred Background in last-mile logistics or warehouse operations is a strong plus Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (required) Experience with BI tools is a plus Ability to structure complex topics and drive clarity Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to operate in a cross-functional and matrix environment High ownership and execution focus Ability to translate data into practical operational actions
