Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI is seeking a MANAGER - MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS to join our MARKETING team!
The Manager – MN Market Communications and Marketing serves as a vital connection between the Aspirus Health system’s communications and marketing team and the communities and operations in the Minnesota Market. This role stays closely engaged with community leaders and stakeholders, identifying strategically important trends and issues making appropriate connections personally, or by facilitating involvement of regional or system executives and/or subject matter experts. This role collaborates closely with the MN Market executive and management team, as well as system leaders as appropriate. This role works closely with Minnesota Market primary care and service line leaders to turn marketing insights and plans into strategy, while leveraging a strong understanding of the Aspirus Health marketing strategy and plan to ensure it is effectively and consistently executed in that geography. In addition, this role identifies market-specific opportunities for growth and collaborates with the Director – System Marketing to design and execute effective tactics and plans to address those opportunities. As a highly effective communicator, this role helps drive internal engagement by continuously improving internal communications resources, tools and capabilities. This role also supports media engagement efforts and generates a high volume of internal and external communications content.
HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or related business field.
  • Master’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or Organizational/Mass Communication preferred.
  • Minimum five years of Marketing or Corporate Communications experience with progressing responsibility.
  • Health care system marketing and communications experience.
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills.
  • Sound understanding of internal and external brand strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and execute marketing plans.
  • Consulting and influence skills.
  • Proficient in the use of customer relationship management and digital reputation management tools.
