The Manager, Marketing Events EMEA is responsible for partnering with key Sales and Marketing stakeholders to understand priorities and objectives and deliver exceptional end-user events across the region. Operating within Veeam’s fast-paced, high-growth environment, this role is critical to executing a calendar of high-profile events. The ideal candidate will balance high energy, experience and attention to detail, ensuring every event meets Veeam’s world-class standards. Key Priorities Managing Industry Events: Lead the planning, execution, and on-site management of Veeam’s participation in major industry events across the EMEA region, ensuring a seamless and impactful presence. Providing Guidance to Field Marketing: Serve as a trusted advisor to Field Marketing teams by offering best practices, resources, and support for Veeam-hosted events, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate standards. Reporting and Measurement: Track, analyse, and report on event outcomes and key performance indicators, providing actionable insights to stakeholders and driving continuous improvement. Event Giveaways & Storage Coordinate with suppliers and storage partners to manage event giveaways and materials, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to event locations. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline event processes, implement efficiencies, and adopt new tools or methods to enhance event planning and execution. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum 4 years’ experience coordinating a high volume of events in a B2B environment. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional European languages is an advantage. Strong organizational and time management skills, with high attention to detail. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a positive, proactive attitude. Proficiency with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM & Marketing tools. Collaborative and effective working style across teams, cultures, and external partners. Willingness to travel occasionally within EMEA as required.
