Description

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
In alignment with the latest global Media blueprint, the Manager of Media Activation for East Europe (EE) will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the overall media direction for the key adidas categories and brand campaigns while also maintaining end-to-end campaign operations.
This role drives and executes the overall brand east communication Media Activation and contributes to wider Media activation strategic plans and objectives and works cross-functionally to support team needs and the overarching strategic business plan in EE.
It ensures awareness and visibility of key adidas stories in an innovative, creative, high-quality and industry leading manner, taps into trends and ensures adidas is inspiring the consumer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with brand and category Business Units to understand the specific campaign objectives.
  • Work with Brand comms and insights (internally and externally) team to understand the nuances of their countries, media landscape and consumer.
  • Ensure adherence to global guidelines / guidance, and collaborate in formal media review processes and reporting
  • Own the end-to-end media planning process and ensure a proactive feedback loop on campaign learnings is delivered to influence future guidelines and toolkits.
  • Analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) and evaluate the success of campaigns to make data-driven optimization decisions.
  • Set clear campaign objectives, define target audiences, select appropriate channels, create compelling ad creatives, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Ensure guidelines are understood and adhered to when reviewing media plans.
  • Be the go-to person for media expertise and lead the implementation of best practice across all channels in alignment with adidas Global standards. Stay up to speed on latest media, platform and consumer trends and share broadly.
  • Drive the media agenda internally and push for creative use of media to develop award winning integrated media campaigns that keep the consumer at the center of all activations.
  • Collaborate with measurement, finance and procurement to evaluate the effect of media activity on the brand & business.
  • Continuously monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and make strategic adjustments to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Efficiently allocate budgets across paid media channels to maximize ROI. Monitor spending, adjust bids, and reallocate resources based on campaign performance.
  • Oversee various internal and external media systems and ensure the team is adhering to best practice use & maintenance
  • Own media reporting and brand research in EE
  • Thinks out of the box and drives innovation for the brand
