[What the role is] You will be part of a dynamic team at the Media Capability Development Division, that conceptualises and implements strategies that ensures Singapore’s Media Industry remain competitive, able to respond to evolving media landscape, produce content that meets global audience preferences and grow in commercial viability and profitability. This can be achieved by uplifting the competencies of key production roles such as Creative Producers, Scriptwriters and Directors and through adoption of emerging technologies, such as Virtual Production and Generative AI. This role will support IMDA’s mission as the Architect of Singapore’s Digital Future. [What you will be working on] Responsibilities Develop and implement programmes that will improve capabilities of media companies and talent. This includes: Desktop / market research on latest industry trends / developments and engage industry stakeholders to collect relevant insights. Identify and conduct internal testing and review of new tech tools and solutions relevant to media industry. Design mentorship programmes that will strengthen competencies of key production roles, such as Creative Producers, Scriptwriters and Directors. Prepare internal submissions with assessment and recommendations to seek approval for programmes and projects, including presentation of proposals to senior management. Engage like-minded partners and lead the project management to ensure programme deliverables are met in a timely manner, including contract negotiations, project monitoring, funding administration and issues management. Collate and review learnings from projects to provide insights to guide future programme(s) development. Requirements At least 6 years of relevant working experience in project management roles, preferably in the media industry (e.g. content production, digital media projects). Well-versed in managing stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Agile team player who can work with ambiguity, loosely defined problem spaces to propose and implement solutions within narrow timeframes. Good communication skills (writing and presentation) including ability to explain complex concepts. Knowledge of and interest in technology, coding, prompt engineering will be an advantage. Degree qualification preferably in Media, Business, Computer Science or Engineering. [What we are looking for] Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
